Chrono Glass: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

Chrono Glass ("the game") is made by Bui Dinh Dan ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, why, and the choices you have. It covers the iOS and Android apps.

Summary

Data Collection & Analytics

Stored on your device

Your progress (cleared sequences, diamonds, best times and scores, shards, failed attempts) and settings are stored only on your device. They are never sent to us. Deleting the game deletes them.

Advertising

The game shows optional rewarded ads ("x2 SHARDS" after a clear, "SKIP SEQUENCE" after five failed attempts at one sequence) and an occasional full-screen ad when you leave the results screen (never in the first sequences, at most every three sequences and three minutes, never right after a rewarded ad). To show and measure ads, Google may collect device and advertising identifiers, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions and diagnostic data. Ads are never required to play.

Notifications

If you say yes when the game offers reminders, it schedules local notifications on your device (a sequence you were stuck on, the next sequence waiting, a reminder after a few days away). They are created on the device; no notification service or server is involved, and no data leaves your device for them. You can turn them off in your device's notification settings.

Analytics

The game does not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics or any other analytics SDK.

On iOS the game asks for permission before using your advertising identifier (App Tracking Transparency); you can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, in line with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws.
